Nowadays we see there are lot of males as engineers, doctors and mechanics rather than females. So, it is very unfortunate to say that in many parts of the world, women study science and technology but do not work in these fields.

To begin, two main reasons for this problem are women’s’ afraid as well as the effects of society towards women. As we can see today all the schools provide science and technology as main subjects to both male and female students. All of them study these subjects similarly and even girls also get high marks and top ranks in these subjects. But, in some occasions, we see that many female students have a very less interaction in some careers related to these subjects like doctors, engineers, mechanics and technicians mainly because of their lack of confident and afraid. Mostly they are afraid and have doubts about whether they are strong enough or they are capable of full filling tasks. The another point is the impacts of social background. As society believe that women are more sensitive and soft than men, they conclude that careers related to science and technology are not suitable for women. So, it seems like women also accepted the same opinion when we see the jobs which are done by women and men.

Hence, possible solutions for this problem are promoting gender equality on careers as well as develop confidence conducting programmes. In present day society, gender equality is highly valued and women are also opened to engage in careers related to science and technology. So, it is very essential to convince the gender equality more and more as well as increase the confident in women’s mind by conducting lot of programmes, campaigns, lectures and so on. For an instance, it will be more important and effective if some lectures and projects can be done by well-achieved women in science and technological fields among female students and workers in order to rise the female workers in these fields.

Eventually, As women have big achievements on science and technological studies, they also can build up their career lives on same fields by maintain their confident and knowledge in a very good way.
