Due to globalization, there is a dramatic change in lifestyle of people in several areas. Especially, modern teenagers are more influenced with it. This had some merits, such as they can ease their life with cutting-edge technologies and enhance problem solving skills. However, it leads to adverse ramifications in families, like it can creates communication barriers and fragmentation of traditions. I believe that disadvantages far outweighs any potential advantages.
To commence with, changing in living style of individuals can helps to acquire the knowledge of new technologies. To elucidate, the adaptation of modern equipment can makes their habitat more easier, with a number of housing appliances. In addition, it can also helps to generate innovative ideas and enhance their thinking ability. Although, it distracts out mind to other topics, it proliferate a pathways to seek for skills which can be easily solve a problem. For instance, about 50% Nepalese attached to different cultures and traditions, it broaden their minds, which can prolonged a thinking capacity. Some scientists proved that exploring to different new things, helps in gaining knowledge.
However, the main disadvantages of change in lifestyles is that it creates communication gap between them. If someone is more attached to social media’s, like Facebook, tiktok, and Instagram, it may exacerbate their relationship by low interaction between them. For example, according to data (2024), around 70% of people attached to social platforms and they did not have strong bond in their families, who showed a rude and immoral behavior with their close ones. In addition, modern lifestyle can replace old tradition, where people tend to respect their older ones and spent a substantial time with families. Therefore, I believe that outstanding lifestyle had a strong point on disadvantages. Even though, it has several merits.
In conclusion, although, advanced lifestyle can promote some advantages in some areas, it can easily dominated by it’s disadvantages. I believe that the aforementioned points support my viewpoint.
