Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Nowadays, following an eco-friendly lifestyle is becoming more widespread among different countries. With this essay, I will delve into the potential obstacles that might be encountered while switching to a environmentally-safe life and suggest practical ideas that can be incorporated to gain much sustainability.

Regarding to the challenges of becoming more sustainable, I can provide such phenomena as the lack of like-minded people who can create a strong community and the need to change to less convenient and more time-consuming activities. Firstly, I believe that if people want to make a change, they should gather together and motivate each other to develop and contribute to their deal. At present, environmental organizations are on their starting point of development in most of the countries, that is why going eco-consious might be a problem for most of the people because of little to no promotion by the government. Secondly, it is evident that adopting a more ecological lifestyle, individuals must reframe their everyday routine and make it more complex and diversified. To provide evidence, the survey done in Russia showed that only about 5% of people would agree to spend more time on garbage sorting or switch their comfortable private cars to buses or metro due to a time-consiming factor.

However, there is a great variety of activities that can be introduced to promote a more sustainable life style. To start with, people could start producing things instead of buying them, for example, growing fruit and vegetables. In addition, some actions might be directed to a switch to reusable items.. To cite an example, there is an increasing number of shop that have already introduced cotton bags. People can purchase them only once, and then exploit for at least a couple of months, which will also undoubtedly ensure that some money is saved and the planet will not get one more plastic bag in the water.

In conclusion, even though sustainable development is still a new phenomenon for many developing countries due to its partial inconvenience and the shortage of ecological societies, there have been numerous actions that can be introduced to foster environmentally-oriented and sustainable lifestyle that will contribute not only to the planet, but also to the wallet.
