Numerous countries started reintroducing native wild animals in suburban territories to achieve ecological balance. The primary reason for this changes is the need of reducing the environmental imbalance caused by extinction of species. I firmly believe that in the long perspective consequences will bring several drawbacks to people living nearby, such as constant risk of being attacked by an animal and illegal hunting.
First of all, bringing back wildlife species is paramount for environmental protection. These animals are a part of a natural food chains where the predators are consuming carnivores. Tha lack of hunting animals leads to the excessive number of wildlife species which main food consists of plants and leaves. Consequently, the flora is being significantly affected.
As for the consequences, one of major changes will be citizen’s safety. As the number of animals rises, there will be permanent risk of attacks. People from local communities will have to be more careful and be able to prevent accidents that include possible children’s misbehaviour. Additionally, the other disadvantage caused by the growth of wildlife’s population is unlawful hunting. Poaching activities will negatively affect not only certain individuals lives, but also fauna’s condition. Trophy hunting creates risks of injuries or even deaths due to people’s inattention. Moreover, the wildlife population will fluctuate, and animals are more likely to become aggressive.
To sum up, the restoration of native fauna plays a vital role in environmental protection. However, despite saving the nature, the program will lead to several issues which affects lives of communities living in nearby territories.
