In the contemporary world, the issue of crime among adolescents has been a controversy. It is projected that most criminal acts are done by the young generation. Personally, I’m in consummate accord with this statement and believe that there should be immediate solutions to this problem. Discussed below are some several primary reasons which will support my opinion.
To begin with, there are numerous reasons behind this chaotic situation. Firstly, it comes from the greediness of an individual. For instance, if one lacks something that is in his or her demand, they would do anything to achieve such items and satisfy themself, even exchanging the live for it. Secondly, teenagers, who have the thought of commiting crime, are often inadequately educated in certain aspects of life. Due to the lack of custody in the parenting role, they will easily be influenced by the surrounding environment; therefore, developing negative traits which could affect the civilisation of a society.
However, I’m convinced that this arousing problem could be solved with the cooperation of roles which directly contribute to a child’s development. As parenting is the core to any teenagers’ growth, both mentally and physically, they should spend more time listening and showing sympathy to their son or daughter’s mental problems to avoid misunderstanding between mindsets, strengthen bonds between members. Moreover, educational institutions should also show their concern and be more aware in developing the teenagers’ horizons. On the justice side of this debate, new laws must be implemented, so as the punishment of the police department in fighting against the rapidly escalation of criminal rates in adolescents.
In conclusion, due the fact that the percentage of crimes nowadays are mostly committed by teenagers, immediate actions must be done to counter this ongoing issue, ensuring the safety of the whole society.
