These days, individuals tend to work online, while staying at home and they do not prefer going offices regularly. I believe the upside of this phenomenon far outweighs its downside because they can save their time and environmental pollution does not occur.
To begin with, travelling workplace everyday is considered waste of time during this modern era. With the advancement of technology, people use different gadgets, making their work easy and convenient. For example, they can just sit at home and use computers and internet that enable them complete their assigned tasks within hours. Moreover, they do not need to attend meeting physically because apps, such as zoom and google meet, help to meet virtually. This not only saves more time but also makes work smooth and comfortable.
In addition, when people go to offices everyday, they use private cars or public transports, such as trains or buses. In turn, using too much these vehicles create pressure on roads and fuel productions. As a result, the more the roads are congested, the more the air is polluted. Additionally, the excessive production of fuels, like gas, diesel, petrol or oil, is not environment friendly, causing global warming. If people work from home, it has good impacts on the environment as well as their personal lives.
To sum up, in many country, people prefer doing jobs at home rather than going office everyday. From my point of view, this trend has many advantages than the disadvantages because these people may save their time and at the same time, they may protect the environment from being polluted adversely.
