In some parts of the world, there is insufficient recycling of waste materials, which is detrimental for our precious environment. While this mainly stems from the weak regulation of governments, the main solution is to construct more recycling factories and raise public awareness.
The key factor of inadequate recycling processes is not only the weak laws used in terms of recycling, but also the amount of lacking convenient recycling facilities. Little do people know that in many countries there are different problems such as economic crises, overpopulation, and natural disasters, which is an obstacle to reprocess waste materials. India, an overpopulated and heavily polluted country located in South Asia, can serve as a notable example, as it is experiencing numerous environmental challenges, including excessive waste generation and overflowing landfills because of inadequate recycling practices. Furthermore, this activity is probably neglected due to busy lifestyles, making recycling more inconvenient. No matter how much people will regret, the countries’ future can be devastating, resulting in even more significant issues.
If governments raise public awareness of the consequences and forecasts of reusing, it can be a more common activity. This means that teachers and parents should behave their children in a way they learn how to recycle and the outcomes of it. For example, some schools are already planning to focus on the environment and nature as well as instructing about recycling. Fining households and companies that fail to recycle can be another solution. This is because if people do not sort out between specific types (e.g. paper, glass, and cans) recycling procccess will get even more diffucult. Therefore, governments should increase public knowledge and enforce stricter legislations. Consequently, governments should take action to prevent the fall in terms of reprocessing.
To conclude, the causes of insufficient recycling are now obvious, so it is high time to resolve them with the offered solutions.
