In many countries, young people have little free time which makes them stressed for hard work for their own studies. From my perspective,I think this problem has several reasons that we need to solve and measures that must be implemented to reduce this problem.
First of all,the major reason for this issue is too much expectations from their own parents. There are several reasons about it.For example, the desire of recognition or to be competitive with someone. My parent is one of the most practical examples. They used to compare with another relatives or neighbors because they think that would make me be more hard-working,it did work but in a negative way.I’ve started putting in the hours to study and I had no spare time to play with friends. The second reason would be the high standard of universities or colleges. If pupils don’t want to be left behind, they will have to study harder and harder. This result leads to a decline in friendships. In the long run, young people will be very lonely. Moreover,it also causes mental issues like depression or anxiety disorder,…etc.
According to me,relaxation time is essential for young people after a long day working hard.To help pupils reduce stress and have more leisure time, parents should not put expectation placed upon them and they should encourage scholars to be more confident. For young people, don’t spend too much time on studying because it can backfire.Making sure you are comfortable when taking a lesson or studying. And don’t forget to spend your time with family and friends,it is also a way to reduce stress.
In brietly, pupils need leisure time to relax after a long day and maintain comfort when studying something. And their parents and schools should not impose expectations on them.
