considerable number of people believe that young individuals must be motivated by telling them they can sucsses in anything but they must dedicate themselves to hard work. This essay will discuss the positive and negative side for this message.
Looking on the advantages, it’s obvious that concept we were taught from early age will affect our action on the long run. This is mainly because human mind tend to believe same things that repeated daily, and react to it immediately. For example, if children exposed to intensive motivational conversation in the schools, they will be able to achieve higher grade. Therefore, many culture followed to this idea and initiate to do it at schools.
There is also a drawback to this believe, some younger people have difficult situation they can’t change, so they will be disappointed if they didn’t do what they were intended to do. This happens because youngesters are highly sensitive and this feelings could decrease their self esteem. For instance, a recent study showed that large number of youngers
are upset and don’t trust their abilities any longer after they failed on one exam. As a result new educational program are now focusing on new methods that enhance the children performance and avoid over motivational content, to protect them.
To conclude, although encouraging younger generation is a beneficial behavior, due to its effectiveness to inspire the child and provide support , it also has disadvantage, that can leads to depression and loss of child confedence.
