In some cultures, children are taught that they can achieve anything if they try hard enough. While this message can be highly motivating, it also have a certain drawbacks. There are advantages and disadvantages for this sentence.
On the one hand, it is great being having positive mindset of trying hard and not to give up easily.Also, they have a discipline, organized and motivated mindset that approach to get their goals. For instance, students study hard to get a scholarship for their academic education.
On the other hand, even trying hard doesn’t mean achieve everything. It also have a limit. Children shouldn’t make an effort in it which is an impossible thing such as become a million within a year. Children should accept this which is the thing doesn’t deserve for them isn’t worth by spending their times.
In conclusion, encouraging children to believe in the outcome of trying hard can lead to positive perspective and resilience. However, children should be taught to work hard but also to understand their limitations and accept that not every goal is achievable.
