Band 5+: In the future, nobody will buy printed newspaper or books because they will be able to read everything they want online without paying. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience. Write at least 250 words.

There is no shadow of doubts that reading printed papers in the future has roused a lot of debates and discussions around it. People have actully differed about it. A group of people claims that buying printed newspapers and books will be something that we take in the future with us, whilst, another group holds a totally various vision, as it believes that people will no longer buy printed books or newspapers in the future. This essay will deal with both opinions in order to reach the most acceptable one.

On one hand, a number of people assum that we will keep buying printed books and newspaper in the future for the following reasons; Firstly, reading a book from an actual papers help in receving the informations faster, in addition to, most of elderly people don´t like to hold a screen in front of their eyes as they prefer reading the printed newspaper.

On the other hand, the other group believes that printed newspaper and books will no longer needed in the future for many reasons; First, schools started to change their strategy on printed books and started to use online materials as they are much more cheaper and more practical, besides, with the help of the internet you can find any kind of books and research papers online. Next, people nowadays check the internet in the morning to know what is going on in the world as it´s their newspaper so i don´t think that will change in the future.

We can sum up the ideas by saying that, although both opinions seem convincing, as each of them has its own convincing reasons, yet, i totally support the last opinion which believes that nobody will buy printed newspapers or books in the future for the previous reasons mentioned before.
