In the today’s world, plenty of women do not want to get married. Some think that because of this situation women are in the work life now women do not need a husband because women gain their own money. I completely agree that this kind of comment would be a good idea. In this essay, I will explain the causes of this case with details.
Firstly, after the Industrial Revolution, women have been starting to enter the work life, and then they gain their own money. Previously, women must have wanted money from their husbands. If their husbands did not give money, they could not buy their needs. But now women have salaries and they can manage their money; they can pay for what they want.
Secondly, women who gain money do not depend on anyone. Fifty years ago, they did not have financial freedom. But now their salaries not only provide financial liberty but also ensure self-confidence. Formerly, if they experienced problems with their husbands, maybe they experienced violence. But their family didn’t support them economically, so women could not divorce. But now women do not have to tolerate this violence thanks to financial freedom. Women have been gaining self-confidence. Also, now women not only want salaries; they would like honor and esteem. Many women expect to boost their position.
In conclusion, so many women do not choose to get married. They want independence. Women have many reasons for this. And this situation brings a lot of opportunities to women.
