Nowadays, people sometime outsource things that they do not want to do to others by paying them. In my opinion, this development is really a good source of jobs for a couple of reasons.
As a way of providing jobs, this source is durable. People typically pay others to do tiny daily work, such as caring children or picking up orders from restaurants. As a result, there would always be jobs as long as there are people so the source is very durable. For example, many people now do not want to cook at home, so they order take-out food everyday online and motivate the industry of professional delivers. As years go by, this industry is growing increasingly prosperous and it is expected to last long into the future.
This development also offers more people, who are typically out of professional labour market, access to job markets. As jobs outsourced in this way typically do not require high skills or professional knowledge, people who are willing to do labour work may take it. At the end, people who do not have proficiency but who have life experience can also get a job. For example, a mother who has never been well schooling can get a job of taking care of children if she has had experience from looking after her own. Otherwise, she may find it hard to get a job in the typical labour market for professionals.
Last but not least, it also saves time of professionals, thus everyone will benefit. Professionals can more efficiently spend their time in their professional fields by outsourcing their daily jobs in this way, so within a same amout of time, they may have more useful results and findings. For example, a scientist can concentrate better on his study after paying others to do his daily affairs, so he may have a significant result within a shorter time and everyone can benefit.
In conclusion, I support the positive role of outsourcing some work to others in this way given its impact on job market and social efficiency.
