Circus are one of the oldest and still a well-known ways for entertaining even in the modern age of technology. In this essay, I am going to present my own point of veiw about this entertainment and how it could have survived during dozens of years.
I believe that mankind are special species which love exotic things, and circuses were one of the best ways to fulfill this eagerness. By that I mean, we usaully see myriad unusual things in circuses, like clowns, jokers, trained wild animals and other kind of stuff. As an example, in the last circus that I went, there were some men from Africa with great strength. They could do crazy stuff with their body, like one of them could twist his head without getting damaged, or one of the group members could balance his body with his jaw over a thin blade.
Based on my research, the fundamental reason for circus popularity amoung people was using animals in the shows. From my point of view, it was not the best way to absorb the audience in the past since, based on a document, they legally used to abuse animals. But today, under some circumstances, circuses are still allowed to use animals in their show. Normally, circuses would hire an animal trainer, so the animal, usually the wild ones like tiger or lion, obeys the order and as we all know it needs a diligence act to make a wild animal following the order of trainer.
Ultimately, the crux of the matter is that circus was and still is one of the best ways to spending your lesure time and making you entertain. Because they always have an ace to make you wonder how they can do such a thing.
