Some negative labels have been stuck on modern society, making many individuals eager to return to traditional values such as respect for the community values. However,it is considered that the traditional values should be integrated in this generation, and exhibit their own way, rather than just focus on the traditional values.
To commence, traditional values are crucial such as genuineness, kindness, and different community values can significantly influence the society. Therefore, focusing on educating citizens to have those traditional values is a worthwhile thing. For instance, these years, in Taiwan, frauds regularly happen, and some people insist that the reason is from the education system. Some people claim that Taiwanese education did not concentrate on the education of traditional values so tons of people pursue fortune by illegal methods. Thus, there is no doubt that the traditional value predominates as a main character in stabilizing communities.
However, some state that those community values should not be limited in one way as this generation emphasizes personal freedom and diversity. Regarding personal freedom, modern communities appreciate autonomy and privileges which means that this society allows individuals to pursue their own paths without being constrained by traditional norms and expectations. Concerning diversity, modern communities permit a broader range of values and lifestyles. However, traditional values sometimes are exclusionary or oppressive to those who do not fit with their norms.
In conclusion, although traditional principles are significant for stability, distinction and personal rights are both notable to this world since we have better appreciation on these ideas, and attempt to make the communities more inclusive.
