In light of this, most people are unable to traverse the country due to the high cost of fare to various destinations. Moreover, some individuals can not afford to own cars, thus depending on public transport which some of them can not access as a result of escalated prices of bus fare. For example, those peolple whose use the buses to go to work might find it too expensive commuting daily, this the government should subsidize the cost of traveling to ease the burden for its citizens.
On the contrary, improving the state of the roads can go a long way in enhancing the ballooning of the economy. Owing to the fact that, good road network ensures tha economic factors such as trade and tourism flourish, therefore the govenment will benefit from revenue and foreign exchange. Furthermore, it will enable the accecibility of the remote areas and escalate the development of such regions that could have been left behind in terms of development. For instance, expanding roads and tarmacing them will reduce traffic on the roads and allow people to go on their daily activities with ease, hence boosting the economy.
