In some factories today, they have used robots to replace humans in some production stages to avoid accidents for humans. This is the reason why robots are popular in automobile industry and electronic production line.
The other advantage is that robots can replace humans working in places with harsh environmental conditions or places where humans cannot go. There are many natural disasters happening every day and there are some cases where humans cannot be used to carry out rescue. Robots can work in any kind of environment, no matter how hard the situation is.
In the other hand, the disadvantages of robots are also many. Because robots and smart devices are designed by humans. What the robot does is guided by humans or pre-programmed in memory. If something goes wrong outside the programmed robot range, then they can become a useless machine if we don’t update it. In addition, when there is a small error in the robot’s hardware or software, it will not be able to operate, which will cause a lot of trouble for humans.
In short, robots cannot completely replace humans. However, in each different field, robots can play a decisive role to help humans do their work more easily.
