It is argued that traveling to other places sometimes leads to prejudicism instead of broading minded. This essay will discuss how differences in cultures and believes can be some roots of this issue and also how respect their thoughts and heritages increase visitors’ knowledge about there.
It is acknowledged that not similarity in cultures and the way they live can create some dissatisfaction between two sides. Indeed, when something is hold value in somewhere, such as how they dressed up and how they pray could have not any meaning for tourists from different backgrounds. For example, in most of the Arab countries, women should wear unrevealing clothes while it is meaningless for western and they believe the women are suffering in these situations. In contrast, when a visitor from middle-east enters to the United States and witness minority of people do not take their shoes off when they are at home. Consequently, there are various shapes of living and the customes which are inherited from their ancestors and have been continued during the years can cause some misunderstanding and eventually makes people prejudiced.
To tackle these kinds of problems, individuals should ignore whatever against their thoughts and try to investigate about the next destination before travelling. In other wrods, there is no place in all around the world that people have a consenus ideas and agreement about how they should do and live. Outstanding example is if a person who is on holiday face some weird situation, he is able to ask from them and find the roots of these differences. In addition, it is highly recommended that visitors should have adequate data of where they planned to travel to. For example, with the advancement of technology, searching on the internet is one of the most convenient way to gather the information to know the limits and forbidden things.
In conclusion, whether it is consciously or not humans compares themselves with others inherently that is an initial problems, such as prejudicism which could be decreased with accepting these dissimilarities.
