In most cases, interviews are known to be a common method to evaluate an applicant, but regardless, some people would think that there could be more sufficient ways to choose a proper candidate. This essay will skim through showcased opinions, and ultimately, it will be told as to why do I *lean* more towards interviewing instead of other alternatives.
At some point, substantial amount of workers had to go through interviewing phase, with approximately 60% off response rate based on University of California staff engagement survey data. Largely, interviews are done in order to gauge individual’s personality and their traits, as usually, the questions that are asked on testimony are centered to grasp “plasteline that manager would be sculpting from”, and afterwards have their own approach to said person. Besides that, management team has to know applicant’s motives, and discuss subjects regarding their choice of workplace, any concerns that they could have brought up, and a lot more. In general, interviews are seen to be something beneficial and advantageous both for executive face and for associate.
However, interviewing can be unnecessary and there are other ways to check-mark information about job applicant. One of them is Auditing. Auditing is a process of systemically reviewing, verifying financial records, operations, compliance with policies and regulation. It is commonly used used in accounting, business, and regulatory environments. The reason why it is considered to be one of the alternatives for interviewing, in certain contexts, because it allows organizations to gather and verify information without directly questioning individuals.
Nevertheless, I am leaning towards the opinion that taking interviews is more favorable position here, but in some cases, it can be unneeded and that there are more straightforward ways to assess trainee.
