The question of whether students should live in school dormitories or with their parents is indeed an important one. In terms of both academic and personal development, while some agree that choosing a school can be a choice to benefit them most with studying encouraging and personal environment, I agree that the benefit of living with parents can outweigh those of living in the school setting.
Firstly, living with parents will make students lead a better self-disciplined and well-structured lifestyle that can fit the students. This is because parents can engage in the process of setting boundaries and enforcing rules that encourage healthy habits, such as regular study times, suitable diet, and biological time for their children. While schools also have rules to conduct their students, they are not likely to be as personalized, suitable, or strictly enforced as those at home as students can’t freely decide their spare time to make plans that meet their favors just because they have to follow all the rules that are meant to fit everyone. Lastly, living with parents allows student to maintan a healthier balance between their academic responsibilities and their personal lives. A home environment provides a separation between schoolwork and relaxation, which is essential for mental health. Living in school may make students find it challenging to escape the schoolwork atmosphere, leading to burnout or stress. In contrast, living with parents offers more opportunities to join family activities, which can serve as a valuable break from academic pressures.
In summary, while living in school may offer many benefits , i believe that it is extremely more comfortable and beneficial for students to live with parents.
