In general some people think that medical research is important for the government’s investment, whereas others are of the view that healthcare infrastructure also needs to be focused on. In my opinion, I think that healthcare infrastructure is more important.
On the other hand, some people consider that medical research is most important but I disagree with it. Because it takes a lot of time to research. In other words, to research the new medicine using around 17 years to reach real use in a clinic or hospital . For example, if a new epidemic is coming and medical research takes much time for ways of treatment, there will be sufferers or even a number of deaths.
Conversely, some others argue that healthcare infrastructure is the main thing that should develop and make it better because the healthcare infrastructure contains many things about health for people such as a free treatment that the government helps the people. In other words, the healthcare infrastructure of different countries are not the same. Furthermore, the government is the one that manages the public infrastructure like funding for treatment for the people in their country.
In conclusion, although people may vary in their opinion, I assert that the most important thing that the government should invest in is the healthcare infrastructure because most of the population of many countries are poor people so I recommend that the government can develop funding to help the poor class people with treatment in better hospitals. If they can invest in this problem there will be less people that can’t take a treatment in a good hospital.
