In recent years there has been debate that leisure reading improves creativity and language barrier rather than watching tv. I strongly believe that recreational reading has numerous benefits. Below, supportive ideas and reasons will be provided to justify my opinion.

Firstly, the tv is the passive medium and human brain does not work creatively while watching the ready materials such as movie, shows and stories. However, while reading books individuals creative imagination turns on and person starts to imagine them in his mind. As a result, reading stimulates creative mindset with helping person to be not addicted to the technologies.

Secondly, reading serves as a powerful tool for linguistic development. Unlike tv programs where there are only casual and basic conversations, reading serves person Lexical diversity with advances sentences and sophisticated structures. As a result, person will have broaden lexical resources with wide range of vocabulary after reading in daily bases. In contrast, watching tv is entertaining but these facts are more beneficial and recreational.

In conclusion, I strongly suggest that reading for pleasure is far more advantageous than watching television. This is because It actively enhances ones imagination while also significantly expands vocabulary.
