It is widely acknowledged that it would be better for governments to construct new homes in existing urban areas rather than develop towns in rural areas. While I agree that building new accommodations in cities brings substantial changes in authorities, I believe that they should also provide a newly constructed town and facilities in the countryside. Therefore, I partly agree with this statement, and I will explain my reasons in the following paragraphs.
On the one hand, there are several justifications to support this idea. First of all, nowadays many individuals are moving to urban areas due to better job opportunities, healthcare, transportation, and education. As a result, residents rely heavily on accommodations where they live constantly throughout their lives. Another compelling reason is that people’s demand is rapidly growing, as cities should offer more opportunities for citizens. For example, governments should spend more money on poverty reduction, education, and other facilities rather than relying solely on unnecessary things. As a result, urbanization is growing rapidly because of its facilities.
On the other hand, there is a strong argument that there are limited facilities in the countryside, as authorities should build towns in rural areas. One contributing factor is that some students struggle with some facility shortage, as there are a few schools or institutions in the countryside. For example, many educators prefer to work in cities, as students can’t obtain detailed feedback from their tutors in rural areas. As a result, the demand to live in cities may grow for these reasons. However, if governments construct towns in rural areas, citizens don’t need to move to urban ones or they are less likely to face difficulties that are chiefly associated with their lives and careers.
In conclusion, although constructing new homes in urban areas offers several benefits,as it can open up many opportunities for individuals, including healthcare and education, building new constructions in rural areas also has several advantages, as people who live in the countryside don’t need to move to cities due to better choices, as it is available in their area.
