Nowadays, many students study in univesity far away from home or even at abroad. I think this is better than live with parents for some reasons below.
At first, live away from home can help students growing up. Normally speaking, we go to university near the age 18. This is a special period of our life. In age 18, we should leave our parents and learn how to live alone as an young adult. That is live far away from our parents will help us growing up. I used to be a person that did not know how to do cooking or households. But I got these life skills when I went to university far farom home. Second, personally speaking live far is a chrish chance for us. After graduation, we will find employment. As an employee, we may have little time to go travelling. So when we choose which university to go to study, many students trend to put cities the like as a consideration. Take me as an example, when I gratuated form high school I went to Shenyang for my post-graduation degree just because I like the winter of Northeasten China. Last, live far from home means that we can make new friends. These friends may from everywhere, they are different form people who live in our hometown. They may give us new thoughts.
Admittedly, live with parents also have its benefits. For example, its a mony saved way for us and our family. Students need not to go far by train or plane. Live at home also need not to pay the cost of dormitory and foods.
In conclusion, I strongly support that students should live far from home when go to universities although live with parents may be money saving.
