Some people believe that it is useful for children and adolescents to do exercise. As a result, schools should provide students with physical education and sport. In my opinion, I adhere to this stance because of the following reasons.
One potential impact is that doing exercise plays an important role in retaining children’s physical and mental health. To be more specific, in a today’s highly sedentary lifestyle, children prefer spending time playing video games or watching TV to engaging in outdoor activities. This contributes to an increasing risks for some diseases such as obesity, stress, eye pain. Therefore, in order to avoid health-related issues, teenagers should be required to take more exercise regularly. Another factor of playing sport is to enhance social skills for young individuals. Many kinds of physical activities involving in teamwork or building groups will help the youth improve cooperation, peer support or even leadership skills. For instance, playing football have to build a team and players will assist their teammates to compete with their opponents. That raises children’s awareness of the importance of friendships and a sense of community. Those are valuable and crucial lessons for their development in the future.
Besides, schools should take advantage of morning time to enable students to do exercise before attending the main classes. This helps them stay active and boost full of energy to acquire knowledge effectively. Additionally, educational organizations should also hold some sport events with a view to encourage students join in physical activities as well as take physical courses to train adolescents who are interested in sports. Hence, schools would be an ideal environment for adolescents to increase sport spirits and pursue their aspiration in sport after graduating.
In conclusion, I firmly advocate that all students in different schools are forced to learning about physical lessons and sport as it brings a lot of benefits for their health and social life.
