Detailed information about politicians’ personal lives ought not to be revealed in newspapers. I strongly agree with this statement because revealing these invades their family’s private lives and breaks the law.
Invading the private life of their family can be done by publishing it. The reason behind this is that it makes the situations of their loved ones dangerous. This means some strangers will become encouraged to attack or bully their family members harshly online. Another reason is that publishing details of their lives can put them under pressure. Because the public tends to give negative feedback or criticize them severely. As a result, it can make them stressed about their future life. For example, one of the Mongolian previous congressmen Saikhanbileg committed suicide in 2010 because he could not handle the pressure from the public after hackers put the text messages about him on the internet.
Making other people know about others’ secret information is against the law. This is because the law protects people’s privacies by putting strict regulations. Publishing others’ information without their permission is a crime, but also it is prohibited. This law makes society aware of the consequences of crime and prevents the crimes that are likely to occur in the future. For instance, if somebody tries to reveal information about politicians, they will be punished seriously because they are committing crimes too.
To conclude this essay, newspapers should not publish details of politicians. I think it is invading their personal lives and breaking the specific law.
