Many people believe that saving money is an essential skill that everyone should learn, even the younger individuals. I agree with that statement, as saving money can offer the people a chance to become able to afford various things and avoid becoming poor.
By saving money, many people might be able to purchase multiple necessities like books, houses, and cars , and have a better quality if life, and become able to pay for their education, whether its diplomas or higher studies for themselves and their children. If people could afford such needs, many of them could flourish financially and enjoy a great degree of self autonomy by not becoming obligated to pay debts. For example, many students in the US would take loans from the banks to pay for their school tuition and is required to pay monthly payments for several years to the bank until they completely pay their debt, which can hinder their progress towards achieving the financial stability they aspire.
Another reason is that saving money may, for a great degree, decreases the likelihood of becoming a lower socioeconomic class person. If people spent their money uncontrollably without allocating a percentage of it to their savings, they tend to take out more loans which can slowly increase their expenses, making them unable to afford the necessaries such as food or health. Many poor families in Sudan are unable to provide their children with more than one meal per day or purchase the needed medication to treat the sick members.
It appears to me that saving money must become a habit for everyone to learn, to easily achieve financial stability which helps with their education and improves their lives, while making them less vulnerable to becoming poor which affect their lives significantly.
