Learning a Foreign Language
A person’s identity is connected directly to language. Communication with others and ourselves is done by language. We dream, think, and speak using our native tongues. That is why teaching kids language is one of the most important steps of education.
English, today, is accepted as an international language. You can always find someone who can speak and understand English to a degree, Wherever you are in the world. The language of science also is English. All the articles are written in English. The best thing we can do for our future generations is to teach them English, starting from ages as early as possible. Knowing a language, besides their native language, is sure to give kids a completely new perspective of the world. A different way to think.
English, French, Spanish, or any other language, each have their own characteristics. For example, the “woof” sound in English, which dogs do, differs in every language. The sounds of a language can change the way one perceives the world around them. For example, after watching a movie in English, I tend to think in English about that movie.
