Generally in study institutes it seems like English is more important then mother tongue, so because of that exist a chance of disappearance of local language. I convinced that own culture (especially language) is mandatory to be learnt, although English is significant in other aspects of life which can be more important than just to be acknowladged about language spoken only in certain area. Importance of learning English is conditioned by amount of Earth population that speaks it. In places as university or work total choice will be directed in English fields, cause it is count as an international language, so the most comfortable to speak.
In case of that individuals choose English like crucial to know, in way to communicate clearly not only with countrymen. Futhermore, if you want a high pay job English will be the language you can handel it. From my observations English plays essential role in most humans lifes and that is the reason why they select it to be learnt more properly then native language.
On the other hand, it is still important to remember what is your motherland language and not to delay it as not that significant. Humanity needs to respect their culture more, so we need to maintain our identity in which one of three factors is language. Firstly, government should provide some lectures about essence of learning mother tongue in schools for children to understand the reason they have to learn it. Second one is to be more flexible, most youngsters decide learning English in the reason they don’t feel pressure from teachers so it helps not to concern about doing a mistake while learning. And last but not least is lack of interesting materials. Teens always want to developing in all sides while language learning and commonly English teachers provide opportunities like games, videos, audios, speaking, etc. It quite the opposite when it takes learning native languages, however.
In conclusion, individuals prefer to choose English in case it gives more opportunities in all spheres, which is not the same for local languages. Nevertheless, the wisdom in your own language is not less valuable and educational government may supply more capabilities for teachers to make mother language more interesting to learn.
