It is an undeniable fact that long-distance flights consume a huge amount of fuel and contribute to air pollution, while cars use less fuel over many years. However, some groups of people believe that the reduction of unnecessary flights is much more effective than limiting the usage of cars. I totally agree with this statement. This essay will provide evidence to support my point of view.

Firstly, avoiding non-essential flights becomes environmentally friendly, as airplanes and helicopters have a significant impact on air pollution. Moreover, if we have fewer flights, we will save expensive fuel. Also, the country’s financial situation will become stronger. Furthermore, the quality of air will improve, and the country will be among the top in terms of environmental standards compared to others.

Secondly, if the rate of using airplanes decreases significantly, there will be a lower risk of mechanical breakdowns. To clarify, in different situations, planes require repairs that are costly. In fact, airport vehicles and equipment are difficult to maintain and require professional workers, which is expensive. Therefore, there will be fewer risks of aircraft malfunctions in the air, which may lead to accidents.

In conclusion, there are several arguments supporting this view. For example, allowing only essential flights helps make the environment more eco-friendly and improves the safety and quality of air travel.
