Some people argue that it is better to prioritize investments for arts and humanities programs than scientific research. I do not agree with this statement, because without strong investments in science, societies knowledge in research will not grow, thus widespread problems such as helthcare and climate area will not be solved in recent years.
Firstly, science are of greater importance for individuals to improve their lives and its expentancy. For instance, medical science research provided vaccines, ampule and treatments to expand life and even looking forward to be able to create vaccine of immortality. If governments limit fundings to science area this will be tougher to find solutions to societies issues, such as, pandemics and climate changes. Additionaly, arts and programs cannot provide global solutions and close people needs properly.
Moreover, prioritizing art over science could be unnecessary, thus it will negatively affect both economic and technology areas, where science researches are required the most. For instance, scientists are focusing on artificial intelligence from now on more trying to get as much information as possible. Without stable funds for scientific research, countries eventually will head with society problems much more.
In conclusion, I believe that although art and humanity programs can be included for important government pays and even though science research is time-consuming and a lot of fund required it is still solving people’s problems so its all covered by it. Science is a key for individuals bright future.
