A large numbers of pupils are required to remain in school, even thought they may not find some school subjects beneficial in their adult lives. I believe that these students should be allowed to leave school earlier to get themselves a job, because this might help them in personal life and in society.
Firstly, leaving school earlier can bring benefits for the individual. Because you can develop practical skills earlier, rather than wasting time on irrelevant subjects. As an example, Mark Zuckerberg leaved his university to build a career. As a matter of fact, recent study showed that school dropout rate has rapidly increased by 17% since 2021. Early work experience can provide improved life lessons and discipline.
Secondly, early employment affects on society. I’m certain that early work experience can impact on filling job vacancies. This also can lead to reducing school overcrowding, especially in major cities. Furthermore, early employment assists the economy by providing workers for business in need. For example, many successful men prefered to encourage a skilled workforce.
On the other hand, some argue thar education is necessary for the adulthood. However, not all people are inclined for academic success. A hands-on work suit for some better. This can be seen in many of us, for ous specific jobs.
To summarise, allowing children to leave school early can suggest practical skills and self development for both personal and society. I wish education was more flexible to offer talents and strong employees.
