In many countries, governments are considering to implement a four-day working week plan in order to improve work-life balance. Some believe that this approach leads to economic inefficiencies and extend working hours for others while some considered it a positive development. This essay will explain both perspective before providing my viewpoint that a strategy must be applied in all fields to achieve a uniform balance.
On one hand, some considered that a four-day working plan in a week may causes various economic inefficiencies due to unavailability of the working force on friday and saturday as often practice previously. This leads to huge strain over administrations in the form of less working hours to achieve a particular goal in prescribed deadline. Administration employess have to work hard more in contrast to those hired on other positions because of four-day working strategy. They feel more depressed due to increase work load in limited time.
On the other hand, opponents beleive that this approach is more beneficial when this approach is completely implemented on every candidates irrespective of their occupation scales and positions. Every person holds a family and everyone needs a break from a busy schedule. If it is uniformly applicable to all; it may be helpful in enhancing task quality as every individual considered deadline seriously.
From my perepective, I also agree with the second opinion that laws are implemented equally for all. Every family member has an importance and their presence means a lot for them. Hence, equal treatment will be more beneficial and plays a significant role in improving a better balance between work and a good life.
