Many people believe that vehicles are the main reason behind the increasing pollution in cities. However, others argue that manufacturing plants are behind this problem. In my perspective, automobiles elaborate on both points of view and my opinion in upcoming paragraphs.
On the one hand, The reason behind why factories take part in pollution is because it not only pollutes the atmosphere but also the water bodies. To explain this, due to globalization, the number of factories has increased in every nation in order to fulfill the demands of the general public. Thus, it raises the overall production rate which leads to an increase in waste materials as well. However, instead of taking safety precautions to dispose of these rubbish, they dump it into the water bodies or in the air. For instance, factories use chemicals to produce their material which may be toxic to nature. So they produce waste material in the form of smoke which is released into the atmosphere and liquid form waste disposed into water bodies which harms the wild and marine life.
On the other hand, automobiles are considered to be the biggest source of pollution because they pollute the environment from every corner of the nation. In other words, everyone has their own hectic schedule to follow, that’s why they prefer to have their own vehicles for the convenience it provides to them for reaching any place in a short period of time. However, with convenience, it also increases the pollution rate in the environment through the emission of fossil fuel from vehicles. For example, public and private automobiles both use fossil fuels such as petroleum or diesel. So when anyone uses these vehicles, it emits the CO2 gas produced by burning of fossil fuels which raises the pollution in the atmosphere. However, it is not only limited to one place but it increases air pollution from every corner of the world because at least owns a vehicle.
To conclude, even though factories are also responsible for the growth of pollution by disposing of their water material and water bodies. But in my opinion, automobiles are the main reason for this because everyone for their own vehicle which leads to emits CO2 gas from every corner of the world giving a huge boost to pollution.
