Criminal Facilities or jails exist in every city around the globe. These prisons are made to allow criminals to be reprimanded for their mistakes with the hopes that they learn from their mistakes and cause no more harm to people around the city. Unfortunately, many criminals commit further crimes as soon as they are released form the prison. There maybe multiple reasons for this, with this essay we will discuss the causes and effects of this on the society.

One of the most common criminal charges include stealing. There may be multiple reasons for one to be stealing goods. One of the typical ones is due to the lack of access to basics like food or medicines. Hence, people resort to stealing since they might be unable to get jobs due to their educational status or financial status or many other reasons. Even after these people are released from prison they may lack means to get a proper job and finances hence resorting back to their old ways to make ends meet. Other than that there are some criminals who just grow up in certain environments and have seen no other way of living hence when they get back to their old lives this is the only way of living they know. Another reason while some people commit crimes is due to their mental status. These are people who feel no remorse for their actions and gain satisfaction or pleasure from committing crimes. Some of these people can be treated by being put into mental facilities but others feel no remorse for their actions no matter how long they are kept in prison or mental health center’s.

If rate of crimes happening keep on increasing in the society, people will stop feeling safe on the streets or in their houses. Along with feeling safe in their own spaces people may slowly start to loose trust on Law enforcement people due to their inability to control crimes happening in the city this in turn will create chaos in the society.
