The majority of criminals commit more crimes soon after their releasing from jail, and this issue have a lot of causes and effects on society. I believe the main reason is the huge negative charge that’s been held within their energy for a long time, because our energy needs to be discharged from now and then.
In my opinion, we crave for what’s forbidden. The case is you bring someone, lock him in a small place, cutting the financial support for his family off, and keep him for a very long period. Many daily habits which he used to do are considered dreams now. That makes a huge pressure on him leading to negative thoughts which increase every day during his spare time. In addition, the criminal’s major thought may be the unfairness he faces every day leading him for anger, which in turn participates in doing more crimes after the release. The last main reason is that you lock a lot of criminals with much different experiences in one place, so for example, anyone who don’t know how to kill someone, he will learn the process.
Because of that, we live in unsafe society. Furthermore, the government puts a lot of investment in building and running a place that may be enriching the crimes rather than decreasing it. Finally, this turns the issue into a routine situation, as criminals themselves may deal with the imprisonment as a long break with a promise to come back to the field soon.
In conclusion, I believe that the concept of prisons has to be reconsidered since it doesn’t really affect in lowering the crime rates.
