The need to teach children the importance of saving money is a need for their good upbringing for their good future. Those parents which restrict to give lump sum money to their children are correct to do so. I believe that it is a necessity to make children realize the benefits habit of saving money which will not only make them responsible but also they will understand and value the money.
If children are taught about the significance of preserving money from childhood then it would be easier for them to do the same thing when they become adult.They will develop a habit of it which is a must in coming future. The first and predominant reason behind it is that if a child starts saving money from childhood then he can easily develop it and will not waste money on unnecessary things when he grows up.He will always value the money and will also develop a mindset of buying only the required things and products and would love to save more and more money.
Moreover, this habit would also help the child in their bad times whenever he face difficulty or tough times when he grow up.
To conclude, in my opinion the importance of saving money will be understood by a child when they become young and start earning themselves much easily.
