Employees should be allowed to work only four days a week. Do you agree or disagree?
It is certainly true that the workplace places massive pressure on workers due to long working hours. From this perspective, it is argued that workers should be allowed only four days to visit the office for work. I strongly agree with this notion, because it not only helps employees to unwind from hectic schedules, but also supports them in achieving a work-life balance.
To commence with, the most significant advantage of this initiative is that it helps workers to relax after a number of continuous working days. To explain it, when they stay at home for three days a week, they are likely to feel a kind of relaxation and a reduction in their stress level. By engaging in a three-day relaxation period, workers may feel a sense of responsibility to complete tasks with more enthusiasm, and helps them to commit long-term commitments with the company. To cite an example, when workers return back to work after some off-days, they become more enthusiast to complete projects. Consequently, it may affect positively the productivity of the company.
Another worth-mentioning benefit is that it supports individuals to create a work-life balance. To add up further, employees can do their pending household activities without feeling any kind of disruption from work. Meanwhile, workers become fresh-minded, and it create creativity and more encouragement in them to work productively for the company. Ultimately, it must be benifited for the company, because workers will improve the efficiency of the company.
To sum up, although three off-days reduce depression in workers, it also helps them to attain a balance between work and life. Consequently, it will not only help the company to achieve progress, but also aid the personal well-being of individuals.
