Nowadays, the different styles of music have been more and more popular. Some people argue that modern music will contribute to a detrimental effect for young age people. Others believe that it has positive impacts for this kind of development. In this essay, I will analyze both perspectives before offering my opinion.
Firstly, many people believe that modern music has more sensitive lyrics, and the style of videos usually involve violence and sex compared to the past years. It is not suitable for children and students to imitate. Also, in the digital world, music is more accessible, we can search anything in youtube and the internet. If some styles of music promote inappropriate aspects, it will lead to harmful impacts for young people.
On the other hand, proponents of modern music have sparked a debate of negative viewpoints. Modern music has more freedom and creativity than before. For instance, there are various songs about love, affection and culture, releasing our feelings to make the songs more abundant. By doing so, songs are not no longer the same expression or rhythm.
In conclusion, although modern music comes with some disadvantageous impacts for society, there are more and more benefits that we cannot understate. We have to pay more attention to its changes in the music industry.
