It is thought that violence which is shown on TV has negative effect on people because it is normalized aggressive behavior towards other people. Personally, I agree with this viewpoint because of two main reasons which I will discuss in the following paragraphs.
Firstly, one of the main reasons why I agree that television violence has a negative effect on people is that it can become a thing for imitating children and teenagers. They can take seriously all things on TV and phone because they are in a period of personality formation. When they see that characters on TV solve their conflicts with physical strength on TV, teenagers will think that they can usi this way to solve their problems too. In addition, nowadays, violence is one of the most common problems among schoolchildren. In many situations it happens from the side of strong children towards weaker children.
Furthermore, the second reason why television violence has a negative effect on people is that it can influence to crime. Nowadays, some people inspired by crime scenes can copy these things and do it towards other people. There really were such cases when people themselves admitted that the reasons of their crime were films with aggressive scenes. Also, if people often see violent scenes, they can normalize it.
To conclude, violent scenes on TV has a negative effect on society because people can copy crime scenes towards others and children and teenagers can imitate this too.
