It is clearly that naturally human mind work is to find a better place to live, starting from pre-historic era to first civilization in Mesopotamia until modern civilization today the tendency keeps continuing. Nowadays, people prefer to live or work overseas which has a better living environment than in their own countries. I believe that this trend has more advantages than disadvantage and this following essay will elaborate the benefits and drawbacks of this trends.
To begin with, working in foreign country will give you a high payment than normal one compare to the home countries. This experience happens specifically for people who come from developing country to a developed country. To illustrates, wages in Australia are two times even three times higher than in Indonesia, people who work in farming industry get more than 30 million rupiah monthly comparing those who work in nine to five jobs in Indonesia, this prove that there a big gap among them. On one hand, living in foreign countries will give more insight about cultural richness among different countries around the world. As an example, living in the United States, people have more chances to exchange the culture and learn about other customs that they probably never met before in they origin countries.
However, it is seemed that living overseas will also bring some disadvantages, both in working field and living style. Firstly, if this trend of working overseas continue this will reduce the number of experts in a particular field. As an example, engineers or scientist will leave their countries because of the low payment given by their government. In addition, another drawback is people who living overseas will find it difficult to be assimilated with new living style that surely will affect they live.
In conclusion, I strongly agree that living outside will give you benefits in terms of high payment and new insight even tough some drawbacks such as the lose of experts and living adjustment also rise.
