Therefore, increasing the price of petroleum to a level that makes average earners struggle to afford a car can reduce car purchases. In this way, people may turn to use public transport, which is a more sustainable way to travel. Another solution is to foster the production of electric cars, which are operated utilizing electricity instead of gasoline. As many individuals find it is uncomfortable while traveling by public transit where they have to squeeze through the crowd and adapt to arranged schedules, by making more electric cars, people can have another environmentally friendly option to drive to work whenever they want while having their private spaces.
