In contemporary society, the growing number of people who do not succeed in accomplishing a balance between work and other aspects of life has become the subject of widespread debate and discussion. This essay aims to explore the possible reasons and propose effective solutions.
There is one compelling reason explaining the failure in obtaining a balanced lifestyle, which is a demanding requirement of timing in the workplace. It can be acknowledged that in the economic development era, people are facing a competitive environment and the growth of workloads. As a result, the distribution of time for working outpaces individual preferences, employees could only pay little attention to the rest of their lives. For instance, an official working hour in Vietnam begins at 8 o’clock and finishes at half past five; however, in many companies, the workers have to work overtime at home to eventually complete the given tasks. This means that the private time of humans will be overtaken and replaced by a tense workload.
To resolve this issues, the government should implement relevant policies on hours for working to ensure the rights and interests of laborers. To exemplify, firms should be strictly supervised by the authorities, beside that the working hours have been legally restricted. If the company legislature assures a satisfactory environment for humans, a long-term benefit of productivity and efficiency in employees can be observed, which leads to the advancement in reputation of that party.
In conclusion, it is evident that a competitive working environment factor contributes greatly to the unbalance among workload and various parts of life. Therefore, it is crucial for the government to enact the law on employee working hours.
