Band 4+: Many people go through life doing work that they hate or have no talent for. Why does this happen? What are the consequences of this situation?

People often have many interests, skills, and talents, some considered beneficial and some not, however when it comes to work, people often work in jobs that are unrelated to their talents, or interests. Working in a job you hate can be due to deferent reasons, and would have many consequences. Some might think that its all due to bad choices in life, however it does not always come down to that. This paper shall discuss why some people end up working at jobs they despise, while showing the consequences of that.

To begin with, not all people get to choose where and what they want to work, but even if they do, some people end up making the poor choices, and even after that, it comes down to demand, as an example theres a constant demand for medicine,but decreasing demand for civil engineers, therefore bad choices, job demand, and job availibilty, are three of the main factors that contribute to working at to jobs they would not like.

Furthermore, there are many consequences to this situation, some of which include: having no passion for the work; which causes them to be less productive at work, despising their job; which would affect how happy they are in their life overall, and many phycological and other health problems; despising the work you do would cause stress, hatred, and poor mental health conditions.

To sum up, some people often end up working in jobs which the despise or have no talent for, due to several reasons, which include: poor choices, job demand, and job availability. having a job that you despise would have many consequences, which include: having no passion, hating many other things, and leading to poor physiological and physical health issues.
