English is considered an international language, so most people decide to master this language as it provides various opportunities in study, career and even daily life. There is such a trend that several people prefer learning English from the Internet to teachers. This tendency offers many benefits but also some downsides. To me, the disadvantages can outweigh the advantages as they cannot exploit the documents effectively.
To begin with, the Internet widely contains study sources and people only need a click to access to information. Constructors, however, may have limited sources of lessons for students, and this is clearly disadvantageous. To illustrate, people might easily look up the source which suits their current level, while they have to wait for teachers to spend time looking for it. Additionally, students might find it interesting in the study process as they can interact with entertaining online apps, websites, videos in learning, etc. and that might help they take in knowledge better.
Despite this, we must acknowledge that experienced educators might give us the right direction to make progress in learning English. It is true that documents on Google are diverse and flavorable, we might find hard to choose a reliable source. To support this point, a lot of learners spent time learning and doing research for three years but felt like it is not as effective as a person who followed a programme of a specialised constructor. As trainees have the right direction, they will have more opportunities to thrive in mastering English.
In conclusion, from all the reasons mentioned above, it seems that the demerits of learners using the Internet to learn this language are more significant than its disadvantages. By learning it from good teachers, people seem get easier to improve their understanding in it.
