Many people claim living in metropolitan cities can be harmful for people’s well-being. I firmly agree with the statement above. There is a widespread worry that this will only lead to a myriad of concerns in one’s life. The constant flow of population and rising numbers of industries are resulting in excessive air pollution and noise pollution.
One of the most controversial stems from the fact that increasing industries and extreme population are main cause of pollution. For example, maximum industrial building establishment occurs in cities due to numerous benefits and easy access to amenities which impacting air quality significantly. Polluted air due to gas emissions affecting residents living near to these factories such as breathing issues, allergies and other serious health related problems. Furthermore, lack of green spaces also reduces opportunities for physical activity and increasing the chances of obesity. These consequences not only affecting physical health but also impacting mental wellbeing.
Second major issue living is cities is high cost of living and stress of city life contributes to health deterioration. The competition for jobs and hosing cris leads to anxiety and depression. The constant noise pollution also participating in disturbing health for elders. The fast-paced lifestyle in urban cities enhance the risk factors. As far as, augmenting the chances of prosperity and excellence are concerned.
To sum up, I solemnly believe that big cities are not ideal place for people who prioritize their physical and mental health. This is mainly caused by centralized industries and overcrowded population. Hence, the government can address these issues by monitoring factories which contributes pollution and polluting air quality.
