Today, many fields have an important role for education in schools. Many people think that history is represented as one of the most essential major to be mastered.But others think that Science and Technology is more preceded than that field. In my case, I can clearly agree that scientific knowledge should be more substantial in the technological age.
Firstly, many people can learn a lot of things in history. It is beneficial to recognize the many mistakes that their ancestors have done in the past. So, they get an opportunity to take lessons from incorrect actions of ancient people that should not have been done and move forward in a better way. For example, in Second World War, many unethical things happened during the War. People did not know human value well and could not be aware of importance of cooperation. After millions of people death, many society get awareness of the consequences and began to chance positively and tried not to do the same mistakes over again. But this field should not be considered as a main topic in my opinion.
Secondly, the World is in technological term for just few centuries. And this development is getting faster by the time goes.That is why many people have plenty of impact for scientific results and they became the main issue in all around the World. Science and technology have succeeded overcoming many vital problems such as famine, poverty and epidemics. So, the society is living in a more convenient conditions by development and investments for scientific innovations. As an example of that, the Coronavirus outbreak, which emerged in Wuhan city in China , became the red alert by Human World Organization. Because it causes deaths and infected of thousands of people in the Worldwide in 2020. As a result of that, many scientists and molecular engineers have already started working on a special vaccine for treatment and coming through this epidemic. Finally, they managed to find a new vaccination successful in a short term because of previous technology they had.
To sum up, the field of science and technology has the most widespread effects in human eras even if history gives importance for recognizing previous mistakes in the past and learn from them.
