It is assumed that it is better to study in a team in lieu of working alone. I partially support the view of studying with other students for a variety of justifiable reasons. While I concur that teamwork can have great effect on education, I also consider that some people might be bothered by the people from the group.
On the one hand, I believe that learning together is the best option for the group projects in which you need help and opinion from each of the students. One major benefit of working in a group is that everyone have their own ideas and perspectives. For example, in a group project each member can contribute their unique and extraordinary thoughts which can improve the overall result. Additionally, groups often provide emotional support. Team members encourage and help each other whenever it is possible. This encouragement can keep everyone motivated and reduce all the worries.
On the other hand, I also acknowledge that working alone has better control and flexibility. Individuals can make decisions without asking anyone’s opinion. Also not all the members have the same character and opinion so it can lead to arguments. For instance, some members would love to work in silence but others can prefer learning with a noisy pace.
To sum up, although I believe that group work can offer diverse perspective and support, I would also argue that learning individually has more flexibility and control.
