The majority of the population believe that culture can be learned more easily by vising other countries than any other way. I totally agree with this statement because social media and movies show only good sides of a culture, and you can learn about it in practical way by travelling abroad.
To commence, many individuals opt for internet to learn about cultures of other nations, because it is free. However, social media and movies are created to make money, not to teach you their own countries’ tradition and culture. That is to say, culture of a nationality on the internet and in real life are not the same. Therefore, to learn deeply, people should go and see the local area, where this culture is used in everyday basis.
In addition, knowing theory is not enough to understand something new, and practice is needed to learn about anything. This is because people’s thought and action are not connected directly. There may be a person who crammed everything, but is not able to use it in action. If person is surrounded by individuals, where this type of culture and tradition is common, you will automatically do what they do, and learn it even without knowledge about them.
In conclusion, many people argue that travelling is the best way to learn about cultures of different countries. I totally support this statement because culture is not reliable in social media, and travelling provides practical lessons that help you to acquire knowledge about a nation and its culture.
