The majority of the population believe that the culture can be learned easier by travelling to other countries than any other method. I totally agree with this statement because social media and movies provide non-reliable information and surrounding mitigates the practical learning.
To commence, most individuals use internet sources to learn about new cultures due to its avaibility and free cost. But movies and social media are created to make money, not to teach people to their own nation’s cultures and traditions. For this reason, producers highlight only good sides, or even can change some local traditions or cultures. For instance, the kazakh movies show that local people are mean, while in reality Kazakhstan is one of the the most hospitable countries in the world. That is why people should cease using internet to learn about different countries, and start to travel abroad instead.
In addition, knowing only a theory is not enough to understand something, and individuals can learn about something automatically, if it is essential part of their days. That is to say, even if someone crams every knowledge about the culture of one country, primary school students of that nation knows more than that person, because they use these traditions and cultures every day. Therefore, people shoud travel to the origin of the culture that they are trying to learn about, and they will be taught more effectively by doing them in real life.
In conclusion, a large proportion of the population support the idea that travelling is the best method to learn new cultures. I agree with this opinion because social media and movies are not truthworthy and practice in local area, where that type of the culture is common, gives more than theoretical knowledge.
